“Do I look like I’m ready to retire?”
This was the question I asked myself after a frustrating search on a health topic I thought was an age-related injury. Most of the search returns were about directions to the nearest assisted living facility, which quite frankly, pissed me off. Men fifty and over should not be packaged up and sent along their way to be fed strained peas. I’m not ready for that and neither should you.
While anyone is welcome here, The 55 Lifestyle is a site geared to men fifty and over. It addresses our particular needs, topics such as health & fitness, diet, fashion, travel and leisure just to name a few. We offer reviews on new tech that may be the latest craze for a teenager, but not for price-savvy adults. And even though it’s not time yet, we will explore matters of retirement, just to be able to make informed decisions when we are ready.
Above all else, I want this site to bring you value and be your “one-stop-shop” for all things men over fifty. To that extent, anything that is presented here has been authored by me or an experienced person and fact-checked, either by myself or a qualified third party.
We do use Affiliate Partnering to try to offset the cost of publications as I won’t ask anyone to do something for me for free. Nothing would be a greater honor for me than to be able to run your site full time, but as of now all of us at The 55 Lifestyle are doing this in our spare time. If you come across a blank spot in the blogs, hang tight, it won’t be blank for long.
So tell me what concerns you, what questions you have, or what you want to know about. With regards to the items that appear here for sale, I make every attempt to confirm that the items are relevant and useful. If you don’t see something you want, let us know, we’ll try to find it for you.
Come in, sign up, tell me what you need and how I can make your site better.
All the best ~ Glen
